Hasan Ali Reaches 50-Wicket Milestone, Becomes Third Fastest Pakistani Player To Do So
Hasan Ali performed extraordinarily in the series with West Indies. He became the third-fastest Pakistani player to achieve 50 wickets.
Fast pacer reached the milestone after taking the wicket of West Indies opener Evin Lewis during the first T20I on Wednesday in Bridgetown.
Before him, there were other players who achieved this milestone, included Shahid Afridi, Umar Gul, Muhammad Amir, Muhammad Hafeez, Shadab Khan, Sohail Tanveer, and Imad Wasim.
However, Hasan was the third-fastest among the eight to reach the milestone in just 38 matches. He is behind Umar Gul who holds the top spot with 50 wickets in 36 matches.
According to ESPN Cricinfo, he became the tenth fastest cricketer in the world to achieve the 50-wicket milestone in 38 matches.
