Due to the political situation in the country, there are dangers of postponing the ODI series between Pakistan and the West Indies next month.
The one-day series between Pakistan and the West Indies has been marred by concerns since the announcement of the long march by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on May 25.
Sources said that a decision regarding the series will be taken in the next two to three days.
The ODI series between Pakistan and West Indies is scheduled for June 8, 10 and 12 in Rawalpindi.
Sources said that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has kept the option of Multan for backup venues, but due to logistical problems, the cricket board is facing difficulties in holding matches in Multan as well.
Sources said that the situation was being reviewed and advice would be sought from the government in this regard.
On the other hand, in view of the situation in the country, sports activities in Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) were also stopped.
