Pakistan openly declares all cross-border actions

Director General (DG) Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has made it clear that whenever Pakistan carries out any military action, it always does so openly and with a formal announcement.

He said that Pakistan’s policy is transparent; therefore, the impression that any operation is kept hidden is incorrect.

In a conversation with senior journalists, the DG ISPR stated that the court-martial of former DG ISI General (R) Faiz Hameed is underway in complete accordance with legal and judicial procedures, and that baseless speculation on the matter should be avoided.

He stated that whenever there’s any decision or progress in this case, the media will be informed.

Responding to a question regarding operations in Afghanistan, the Pakistan Army spokesperson stated that if Pakistan targets any objective outside its borders, it does not hide it; rather, it places its stance before the world with a clear announcement.

He further said that military representatives are part of various committees formed at different levels to combat terrorism. To foil the nexus of anti-economy elements, the Balochistan government is also taking strong measures under the National Action Plan.

The DG ISPR added that state institutions are working in coordination to ensure peace, stability, and development in the country, and every piece of progress will be communicated to the public promptly.
