More monsoon rains with some heavy showers are expected in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and several other parts of Pakistan on Sunday night, Monday, and Tuesday, with breaks in between.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), a seasonal low is present over northern Balochistan, while monsoon winds are entering the upper and central regions of the country. A westerly weather system is also affecting the northern areas.
Due to these conditions, rain with chances of isolated heavy falls is likely in the twin cities, northeast Punjab, the Potohar region, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Kashmir over the next few days.
In terms of temperatures, Islamabad is expected to see highs of 35°C to 37°C on Monday, 34°C to 36°C on Tuesday, and 33°C to 35°C on Wednesday. In Rawalpindi, the maximum temperature is expected to range between 34°C and 36°C on Monday, 33°C and 35°C on Tuesday, and 32°C and 34°C on Wednesday.
During the past 24 hours, rain was reported at scattered locations in the Potohar region, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, northeast Punjab, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir.

Dalbandin and Nokkundi remained the hottest places in Pakistan, with a maximum temperature of 44°C recorded. The maximum temperature in Dadu was recorded at 43°C.
In Islamabad, the maximum temperature was recorded at 36°C. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 54 percent.
In Rawalpindi, the maximum temperature was recorded at 35°C. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 50 percent.
