Artist apologizes for not including Pakistani cricketers in illustration

The Digital Artist, David Webb has apologized for not including Pakistani cricketers in the colorful sketch of the ICC T20 World Cup.

According to the details, Illustrator artist David Webb has apologized for not including Pakistani cricketers in the colorful sketch of the ICC T20 World Cup and has assured that he will amend the art piece.

The illustrator of David Webb was shared by the ICC, the world’s governing body for cricket, on its official social media page, which drew criticism.

All the leading cricketers of the world are seen in this colorful sketch of ICC World Cup, not a single Pakistani cricketer is included.

David Webb also ignored T20 world number one Babar Azam and Indian cricketer Virat Kohli has been highlighted the most.

The ICC, the International Cricket Council, shared this GIF of artist David Webb on its official social media and wrote that the sketch of David Webb in the ICC Men’s Twenty 20 World Cup has attracted many Colours.

ICC wrote on Twitter, “Dave Webb’s illustration shows the many colours of the many countries in the ICC Men’s
@T20WorldCup.”

David Webb apologized and said there were too many players, I was really ignored when I was doing something and I didn’t feel like I had done what I did and didn’t do.

“Of course I didn’t do it on purpose, I will amend it,” he added.

He wrote on Twitter, “Really sorry. There where lots of layers and I just genuinely lost sight of what I had or had not done. Definitely not intentional. I’m amending the illustration. Sorry!”
