Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the match officials for Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2020.
According to the details, Aleem Dar and Michael Gough, who have officiated in most of the Test and ODI matches, will be the on-field umpires in the PSL 2020 final.
Ahsan Raza, who has officiated most of the T20 International matches, and Rashid Riaz, a member of the ICC International Umpires panel, will be the third and fourth umpires in the final of the event.
Mohammad Anis will officiate the match as the head of the playing control team.
Aleem Dar, who has been the umpire in most of the 42 matches in the PSL, will also be the on-field umpire in Schedule Element One and Element Two on November 14 and 15, respectively.
In Schedule Element One between Lahore Qalandar and Peshawar Zalmi, he will be accompanied by Shozaib Raza as field umpire while Ahsan Raza as third and Faisal Khan as fourth umpire. Professor Javed Malik will officiate the match.
Aleem Dar and Michael Gough will be the on-field umpires in the second element, while Shozaib Raza will be the third umpire and Asif Yaqub will be the fourth umpire. Professor Anis has been appointed as the referee for this match.
In the qualifiers of the event, Multan Sultans and Karachi Kings will compete with Michael Gough and Rashid Riaz on-field umpires, Asif Yaqub and Nasir Hussain Sr. as third and fourth umpires respectively while Muhammad Anis will be the match referee.
Meanwhile, the PCB has also announced a six-member technical committee for the remaining four matches of the league.
The committee includes Wasim Khan, Bazid Khan, Dr Riaz Ahmed, Marina Iqbal, Nadeem Khan and Sameer Khosa.
