Pakistan Head Coach Misbah-ul-Haq on Monday said that the changes in team for the Rawalpindi Test will be depending on pitch conditions.

According to the details, speaking at a press conference after the first practice session at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, head coach Misbah-ul-Haq said that the team fought a difficult situation in the Karachi Test.

Misbah-ul-Haq said that the conditions in Rawalpindi would change a little. South Africa is a great team and can fight back.

He said that he would select the final XI of the Rawalpindi Test on the last day and would change the team if necessary considering the pitch. The effort will be to win the series by winning the second test match against the Proteas.

Moreover, the head coach said that Haris Rauf is bowling very well and is doing 14 overs during training.

It should be noted that Pakistan won the first test against South Africa by seven wickets and took 1-0 unassailable lead in 2 match test series.

Fawad Alam who came at number four hit the winning runs for the team at National Stadium in Karachi. Fawad Alam played a vital part in the game scoring a brilliant 109 in Pakistan’s first innings.

The Proteas side fell miserably in the spin trap laid by Pakistan on Day 4 of the first test. The visitors resumed play on 187/4 and things immediately got worse when Hasan Ali bowled night-watchman Maharaj with the first delivery of the day.

Chasing a target of 88 runs, South Africa’s Anrich Nortje took two quick wickets but Azhar Ali (31*) and Babar Azam (30) ensured that their team pursuits down the target without any final moment drama.

Second match will be played at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium starting from February 4th.
