ICC World Cup 2023 Squads Announced

• 10 teams will compete in 45 league matches.
• Top 4 teams will qualify for semifinals in Mumbai and Kolkata.
• Finals will be held in Ahmedabad.

The ICC World Cup 2023 is scheduled to be held in India, featuring 10 teams competing for the coveted title at 10 different venues. The tournament will take place from October 5 to November 19, with the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad hosting both the opening match and the final.

The Cricket World Cup will employ a round-robin format, where all teams will face each other in 45 league matches. The top four teams from this stage will qualify for the semifinals, set to be held in Mumbai on November 15 and in Kolkata on November 16. Reserve days have been allocated for the semifinals and the final to account for any weather disruptions.

As per the tournament’s regulations, all teams must finalize their squads of 15 players by September 28. Any changes to the squads after this date will require approval from the ICC.
