Sarfaraz Ahmed, the former captain of Pakistan, has categorically refuted recent rumors indicating that he may be moving to London and leaving Pakistan.
Sarfaraz recently responded to rumors that he would leave the nation he has so dutifully served in an interview with a local media outlet.
“I can’t even think of leaving Pakistan. Confirm before running such fabricated news,” Sarfaraz said.
The 36-year-old expressed his disappointment in response to these reports, saying, “Sad to see such news.”
Previous reports had said that the former captain made the choice to quit Pakistan because he was dejected and felt hopeless about his cricket career.
He, his wife, and their two kids were said to have moved to London, United Kingdom.
