Pakistan is all set to host New Zealand for the Twenty20 International series on thiert home soil.

The first match is set to begin at the Pindi Cricket Stadium, Rawalpindi on April 18.

The series will be live broadcasted on the Ten Sports, while it can be live streamed on Tapmad.

The Kiwis arrived in the Federal Capital of Pakistan, Islamabad, on April 14 (Sunday). The natrional team also assembled in Islamabad after Eid-ul-Fitr.

Some of the big names in the Kiwis squad will miss the series due to Indian Premier League (IPL) commitments. These players include Trent Boult, Devon Convey, Lockie Ferguison, Matt Henry, Daryl Mitchell, Glenn Phillps, Rachin Ravindra, Mitch Santner, and Kane Williamson.

Kiwis pacer Tim Southee was rested while Colin Munro was unavailble for selection.

Will Young also missed the selection due to his commitments with the English club Nottinghamshire Country Cricket Club.

Wicketkeeper-batsman Tom Latham was also not available as he was awaiting his second child’s birth.

On the other hand, left-arm pacer Mohammad Amir and all-rounder Imad Wasim were called back to the national squad after they reversed their international retirement.

After the spectacular disbaly of performance by Irfan Khan and Usman Khan during the Paskiatn Super League (PSL) season nine, they were called to the squad by the selectors.
