In a bold move to redefine AI interaction, Google has introduced the ‘Answer Now’ feature in its Gemini app, enabling users to receive lightning-fast answers without waiting for the AI’s deep reasoning process.

The new functionality is now available for Gemini 3 Pro and Gemini 3 Thinking/Flash users, appearing as a button next to the spinning status indicator. The Fast model is excluded, as its design already prioritizes speed, and Google currently has no plans to add the feature there.

According to 9To5Google, Google has also revised usage limits across its AI tiers. AI Pro users now receive 300 Thinking prompts and 100 Pro prompts daily, while AI Ultra users gain 1,500 Thinking prompts and 500 Pro prompts per day. Free users under Basic access enjoy similar limits.

To activate the feature, users simply pose a question and tap the ‘Answer Now’ button, which instructs Gemini to bypass complex reasoning for an almost immediate response. The three-dot menu confirms that the AI applies the chosen model specifically for that prompt, without defaulting to Fast mode.

In addition, Google recently rolled out “Personal Intelligence”, allowing Gemini to tailor responses by integrating data from Gmail, Photos, Search, and YouTube history. This feature is disabled by default, giving users full control over which apps Gemini can access.

The ‘Answer Now’ function replaces the former Skip button and is now being deployed to all free and paid Gemini accounts across Android, iOS, and web platforms, marking a new era in fast, responsive AI interactions.
