Islamabad: According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), most parts of the country are expected to experience cold weather today, with partially cloudy skies.
In Islamabad and its vicinity, the weather will remain cold with partly cloudy skies throughout the day.
In the mountainous regions, including northern areas, the weather is expected to be extremely cold during the morning and night hours.
Additionally, light snowfall is expected on the higher peaks of Gilgit-Baltistan, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Kashmir, particularly in the evening and night.
Fog is anticipated to develop in the plains of Punjab, upper Sindh, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, especially in the morning and night hours, making visibility poor.
The fog is expected to intensify in several areas, including Sukhur, Rohri, Shikarpur, Kashmore, Larkana, Mohenjo Daro, and their surrounding regions.
In Sindh, most districts will experience dry weather, but cold conditions will prevail during the morning and night.
The weather in most parts of Balochistan is expected to remain cold and partly cloudy, with the northern regions of the province likely to experience severe cold, especially during the early and late hours of the day.
