Nexgen Auto has officially announced the introductory ex-factory prices of the JAECOO J5 SHS HEV, further expanding its hybrid SUV range in Pakistan.
According to the company, the JAECOO J5 SHS HEV Comfort variant is priced at Rs. 6,699,000, while the Premium variant is available for Rs. 7,699,000. Nexgen Auto said these introductory prices will remain applicable until March 10, 2026.
The JAECOO J5 will be offered in two variants. The higher-end version is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged hybrid engine that delivers 221 horsepower and 295 Nm of torque, paired with a front-wheel-drive system.
The SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds and is equipped with a 1.83 kWh hybrid battery. The company claims a fuel efficiency of 18.8 kilometers per liter. In terms of dimensions, the vehicle is 4,380 mm long, 1,860 mm wide, and 1,650 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,620 mm.
The top variant features 18-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone climate control, and a panoramic sunroof. Inside, it offers a 13.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an 8-inch digital instrument cluster, and an eight-speaker sound system.
For safety, the vehicle comes with six airbags, advanced driver assistance systems, and a 540-degree camera. Other features include ventilated front seats, wireless charging, acoustic glass, heated side mirrors, anti-pinch windows, and Type-C charging ports.
