NADRA Family Registration Certificate (FRC) Fees in Pakistan for July 2024

NADRA Family Registration Certificate - In a recent development by the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA), obtaining a Family Registration Certificate (FRC) has become more accessible and efficient.

Effective July 2024, the service fee for acquiring an FRC has been fixed at PKR 1000/-, payable in cash at NADRA counters across Pakistan.

What is a Family Registration Certificate (FRC)?

The FRC is a vital document from NADRA that records an individual's family connections, including parents, siblings (by birth), spouse, children (by marriage), or guardian (by adoption). While it is mainly used for embassy purposes, it does not meet legal requirements. 4o

Application Categories for FRC:

1. By Birth: Includes details of parents and siblings.
2. By Marriage: Includes details of spouse and children.
3. By Adoption: Includes details of the guardian.

Key Points to Note:

• The FRC is issued exclusively to applicants registered with NADRA, possessing a 13-digit ID number.
• Unregistered individuals’ data will not be reflected in the FRC.
• Applicants can expect to receive the FRC form immediately upon payment at NADRA counters.

Importance of the Update:

This update aims to streamline the application process for FRCs, ensuring that individuals can easily obtain this essential document. It is particularly beneficial for those requiring the FRC for embassy-related matters, simplifying the documentation needed for official purposes.

NADRA is improving convenience and efficiency for obtaining the FRC by setting a standardized fee and offering immediate issuance at counters. Citizens can visit their nearest NADRA centers or check the official website for more information. This initiative highlights NADRA's commitment to modernizing services and making important documents more accessible.
