Bollywood icon Kareena Kapoor Khan, who recently marked 20 years in the film industry, is married to actor Saif Ali Khan, forming one of the most celebrated power couples in Bollywood.
Controversial cleric Mufti Abdul Qavi, notorious for his provocative behavior, on-air drinking, and controversial appearances with social media personalities like Qandeel Baloch and Hareem Shah, has now made shocking claims about Kareena Kapoor.
Mufti Abdul Qavi asserted that he had a Nikkah with Kareena, arguing that since Hindus possess a holy book called Veer, they are considered Ahl-e-Kitab, making the marriage valid in Islam. He claimed the Nikkah took place in 1982, despite Kareena being born in 1980, and insisted it remained valid even after her marriage to Saif Ali Khan.
The internet has ridiculed his statement. One user tweeted, “Kareena was born in 1980, and you claim a Nikkah in 1982? Get your story straight.” Another added, “No wonder other clerics distanced themselves from him.” Yet another remarked, “Calling Hindus Ahl-e-Kitab now how does he even prove this?”
Mufti Qavi’s bizarre claim has left social media users stunned and widely mocking his statements.
