Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales, have discreetly expanded their household during a serene winter sojourn.
The royal couple, along with their three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis have reportedly welcomed a charming new addition to the family: a beloved canine companion.
According to royal sources, the family was recently seen with two dogs, following the birth of a litter from their cherished cocker spaniel, Orla, who gave birth to four puppies last year.
The arrival of Orla’s offspring was commemorated publicly on Prince William’s birthday, June 21, 2025, with a heartwarming photograph depicting William seated gracefully on the grass, tenderly surrounded by three playful puppies. The image was captioned:
“Love C, G, C, L, Orla and the puppies”

At that time, senior royal correspondent Rebecca English confirmed that the couple intended to keep one of the puppies as a lasting member of their family.
Orla originally joined the household in 2020, a thoughtful gift from Kate’s brother, James Middleton, following the birth of his dog Luna’s litter of six.
With this newest addition, the royal family of Wales continues to exemplify family warmth and affection, sharing glimpses of their private life while maintaining their regal composure.
