Saudi Arabia’s government will outline a new employment law that will come into effect on Sunday, March 14.

The new law by the Saudi government means the employees will no longer require the approval of their previous chief to change jobs.

According to the details, the exit and re-entry visa reforms will also allow expatriate to travel outside Saudi Arabia without their employer’s approval after presenting a request.

A senior official at the Saudi Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development told that more than seven million exile labourers will benefit from the “Improving Contractual Relationship” initiative.

To apply this new law simply aims to develop a more skilled workforce and overcome the conflicts among labourers and other employees.
