Heavy rain hit different areas of Karachi

Weather became pleasant in different parts of Karachi as heavy rin hits the city. According to the Meteorological Department, the Monsoon system has entered Sindh.

According to details, the roads were submerged after the torrential rains in Karachi area of ​​Malir, Airport, Shahria-e-Faisal, Malir Cantt, Steel Town, Landhi and Gulshan Iqbal.

Dark clouds block the sunshine in different parts of Malir. The city has been receiving periodic rainfall since morning. After a few hours of rain, roads have become pond.

After the heavy rain in the city, the drainage system of the city disrupted. The water board staff is engaged in drainage of water near Shahra-e-Faisal and Drig Road. The traffic and the district police are busy in restoring the flow of traffic.

The power supply was suspended after the rain in Liaquatabad C-1 Area, North Nazimabad, Tariq Bin Ziyad Society has power supply. In North Karachi, New Karachi, Shadman Town, Surjani Town, Pahlavan Goth, Safura Goth and Scheme 33.

Electrocution incident occurred in Karachi. A person was killed in Mangopir Mianwali colony.

The city is facing severe problems due to the heavy rains. On the direction of SSP East Ghulam Azfar’s relief Camp has been established while SHO Ferozabad and other personnel are ready to help the citizens.

Citizens can contact the camp for any kind of assistance, SSP East stated. People can seek police’s help to start vehicles and motorcycles that have been broke down. Heavy vehicle lifter machines are also available at the camp in case of any emergency.
