Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Senator Sirajul Haq has said that we do not accept the current budget because this budget is just a bundle of words while the performance of this government is zero.

According to details, while talking to media in Karachi, Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Senator Siraj ul Haq while rejecting the budget of the federal government said that the people did not get anything in the current budget, this budget is just a pack of government talks and the people of Balochistan are very disappointed.

Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami said that it seemed to us that the government would rectify its mistakes but there is nothing in this budget for the poor people while in this budget the government reduced the education budget while there is nothing for religious madrassas.

Siraj ul Haq said that this time the budget has been consulted with the IMF while the budgets of the provinces have been reduced and there is nothing in the budget for the tribal areas.

Siraj-ul-Haq also said that the government has got an excuse from the coronavirus because the government is getting loans from outside because of COVID-19 while inflation has risen by 20% as the budget was presented, for the first time in Pakistan’s history, the growth rate has been negative.

Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Senator Siraj ul Haq further said that the world is moving on one side and we are moving on the other side so we demand that the government review the current budget and the first part of the budget is based on the people, the second part on development and the third part should be on administrative expenditure.

Earlier, Federal Minister for Industries and Production Hamad Azhar presented his second federal budget for the fiscal year 2020-2021 in the National Assembly on behalf of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government.

During the budget speech, Federal Minister for Industries and Production Hamad Azhar said that no new tax has been imposed in the budget for the new financial year 2020-21.
