Karachi: The annual examinations for Classes 9 and 10 have officially commenced in Karachi today, with all necessary arrangements finalized.

According to board officials, a monitoring cell has been established in the committee room of the board office to ensure transparent supervision of the examination process.

From there, the distribution of question papers and other related matters will be monitored in real time. At the request of the board administration, a special monitoring cell has also been activated at the Commissioner’s Office.

The Commissioner of Karachi has imposed Section 144 around examination centers, banning the entry of unauthorized individuals. Law enforcement agencies have also been instructed to maintain law and order in and around the centers.

Authorities stated that cyber security institutions have been mobilized to prevent paper leaks on social media, and suspicious WhatsApp groups are being closely monitored.

The Controller of Examinations has issued instructions that if a student is unable to reach their assigned examination center on the first day for any reason, they may take the exam at the nearest center. Center superintendents have been informed accordingly.

As per the schedule, the Class 10 Computer Science paper is being conducted in the first shift today from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, while the second shift will include the Class 10 General Group paper from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
