Three Pakistan Rangers personnel embraced martyrdom.

Three Pakistan Rangers personnel embraced martyrdom and four others were injured when militants belonging to India-backed group, Jamaat ul Ahrar, launched a coordinated attack on a Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) camp in Karachi, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Sunday.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the assailants, after a blast at main gate of the Camp, attempted to breach the perimeter security.

ISPR stated that, the attack was decisively foiled by the vigilant response of Rangers troops, who eliminated three militants and captured one, identified as an Afghan national, in an injured condition.

During fire exchange, Three Pakistan Rangers personnel embraced martyrdom and four others were injured, said ISPR.

ISPR stated that sanitization operations are being conducted to eliminate any other Indian sponsored kharji in the area as relentless Counter Terrorism campaign under vision “Azm e Istehkam” by Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out menace of foreign sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.
