Cristiano Ronaldo, the club’s star striker, won’t call it quits at the Saudi Arabian club, according to Al Nassr manager Rudi Garci.

Ronaldo has signed a contract with Al Nassr, reportedly for more than 200 million euros.

The 37-year-old signed a contract that would keep him on the team until June 2025.

“Cristiano Ronaldo is a welcome acquisition since he helps to disperse defenses. He is regarded as one of the top players in the world. He will not conclude his career in Al-Nassr; instead, he will return to Europe,” Garcia told the reporters.

After a year in which he was benched by Manchester United and demoted to Portugal’s bench, Ronaldo left for the Gulf.

United parted ways with the veteran forward after he declared he felt “betrayed” by the club and had no respect for coach Erik ten Hag in an emotional TV interview.

Even though Ronaldo was playing for Portugal at the World Cup, United ended his contract.

When he converted a penalty in their victory over Ghana, Ronaldo made history by becoming the first player to score in five international competitions.

But when Portugal destroyed Switzerland in their match in the round of 16, he was not included in the starting lineup.

He started on the bench for Portugal’s quarterfinal match against Morocco and left the competition in tears.

Ronaldo has consistently ranked among the highest-paid football players.

His pay at Juventus was reportedly 31 million euros, but the Turin club’s financial records are being looked into because they may have understated the amount of money given to players.

Despite taking a wage cut to rejoin United, he was still among the highest-paid players in Europe with reports placing his basic yearly income between 15 million and 28 million euros, before bonuses.

Ronaldo was linked to a number of Champions League contenders as his relationship with United deteriorated, including Chelsea, Bayern Munich, and Napoli.

There were also rum ours that he will join his old team Sporting in Lisbon. There have been rumours of a transfer to Inter Miami, a team controlled in part by former United teammate David Beckham. None of those agreements were completed.
