Harry Kane’s Bayern Munich shirt sales to surpass all expectations
Kane's 21 goals in 16 games have Bayern fans in a frenzy....
Harry Kane of Bayern Munich was overjoyed to see his old Tottenham teammate Eric Dier again after the German team brought him in.
Following his score in Bayern’s 3-0 victory over Hoffenheim, which was his 22nd league goal of the season in just 16 games, Kane expressed his feelings.
“I’ve known Eric for a long time, played with him for a long time, and I know what a great player he can be for us,” Kane said.
“He’s obviously really happy and excited and we’re happy to have him.”
Dier, 29, is under contract with Bayern until the summer, but the team may choose to extend his stay by one year.
Dier watched from the stands since he was not in the team for Friday’s play.
Kane stated that he “hopefully he settles right in.” He has been playing well since making the same decision in August.
“He’s a good guy, he’ll get his head straight down and into the team.”
The England captain told reporters he was “slowly but surely getting into a nice routine.” The family moved to a property on the outskirts of Munich after he lived in a hotel for the first few months.
“This is our home now. We want to make it as special as possible, not just for me but for my wife as well.”
Dier is expected to play in Bayern’s upcoming game, which is scheduled for January 21 at home against Werder Bremen, according to head coach Thomas Tuchel.
“From his personality, his professionalism, his character, his experience, he’ll be a worthy addition to our defence,” Tuchel said.
