Karachi: According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), a cold and predominantly dry weather pattern is expected to prevail across most parts of the country today.

Cold and dry conditions will dominate the majority of regions, while Gilgit-Baltistan, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Kashmir may experience rain accompanied by light snowfall at isolated locations.

Murree, Galiyat, and surrounding areas are likely to remain under partly to mostly cloudy skies, with chances of light rain or light snowfall at a few places.

Islamabad and its adjoining areas will experience cold weather with partly cloudy conditions; however, light rain or intermittent drizzle may occur at isolated locations during the afternoon or evening hours.

Most districts of Balochistan are expected to remain cold and dry, with very cold conditions prevailing in the northern districts whereas the majority of districts in Sindh will also continue to experience cold and dry weather.
