Karachi Red Bus New Routes Announced: Check Details

The Red Bus, also known as the People's Bus Service, has started three new routes to make public transportation better in the city.

New Routes and Launch Dates

Route No. 13: Hawksbay to Tower Starting from July 22, 2024, Route No. 13 will connect Hawksbay to Tower, providing a convenient and direct route for daily commuters.

Route No. 12: Extended Service Effective from July 23, 2024, Route No. 12 will be extended. Instead of running from Khokhrapar, it will now start from Memon Goth and travel through Quaidabad and Korangi, ending at Tower. This extension aims to serve more passengers in key areas of the city.

Route No. EV 4: Electric Bus Service The new electric bus route, EV 4, will commence on July 24, 2024. This route will operate from Bahria Town to Numaish Chowrangi, contributing to the city’s eco-friendly transportation options.

Route No. 8: Yusuf Goth to Tower From July 25, 2024, Route No. 8 will start its service from Yusuf Goth to Tower, further expanding the reach of the People’s Bus Service.

Enhancing Public Transportation

These new routes are part of the city’s initiative to enhance the public transportation network, making it more accessible and convenient for Karachi’s residents. The introduction of the electric bus route highlights the city’s commitment to sustainable and eco-friendly transportation solutions.
