US extends visa appointment cancellations in Pakistan until March 13

All immigrant and nonimmigrant visa interviews are canceled.

The United States Embassy in Islamabad has announced an extension of visa appointment cancellations across Pakistan.

All immigrant and nonimmigrant visa interviews scheduled from March 9 through March 13 have been canceled as part of the extended suspension.

 

Officials confirmed that while routine and emergency services for U.S. citizens in Pakistan will continue, affected visa applicants will be notified by email with instructions on how to reschedule their appointments.

In addition, all consular services at the **U.S. Consulates General in Karachi and Lahore remain temporarily suspended until further notice.Vi
