All-rounder Rashid Khan appealed for peace in Afghanistan. He asked the world leaders not to leave his country in “chaos” amid increasing violence.
“Dear World Leaders! My country is in chaos, thousands of innocent people, including children and women, get martyred every day, houses and properties being destructed. Those families displaced. Don’t leave us in chaos. Stop killing Afghans and destroying Afghanistan. We want peace,” he tweeted.

The situation is worsening in Afghanistan by the day with more than 1,000 are either killed or injured due to the attacks against civilians in Helmand, Kandahar, and Herat provinces in the last month.
After starting the withdrawal of the US troops from Afghanistan on May 1, the country has been facing a series of terror.
The Taliban also rose to power after withdrawal, and so far the group has taken control over roughly half of the 400 districts of the country.
The US has nearly withdrawn its troops and is expected to completely leave the country by August 31 nearly after two decades of its military presence in Afghanistan.
