Coronavirus penetrated the Pro Kabaddi League bio-bubble here with a vague number of players in two groups testing positive for the infection, constraining rescheduling of a portion of the matches.

The PKL coordinators said in a Monday night proclamation said that the impacted players have been confined. Changes have been made in the matches booked between January 25 and 30.

“After the effective fruition of the primary portion of the association stage… two of the 12 PKL groups have found it challenging to handle the imperative number of 12 players for their separate matches because of certain players in these groups testing positive for Covid-19,” the coordinators Mashal Sports said in an articulation.

“To guarantee the congruity of matches in the current climate, Mashal Sports along with all PKL groups, have proactively rescheduled a portion of the matches and will keep on exploring what is happening,” the assertion added.

The coordinators didn’t name the two impacted groups nor give out the quantity of positive cases.
