A British-Iranian citizen was detained in Iran’s Isfahan province on Wednesday for allegedly sharing information with news outlets based in other countries, according to Iranian state media.

According to a report by the News Network of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Revolutionary Guards’ Intelligence Organization detained a British-Iranian citizen who had been communicating with the BBC and Iran International. The report also stated that the individual had been born in the United Kingdom.
