Following a hike, for the second time in a month, the price of Swift GLX CVT model in Pakistan is Rs5.429 million.
Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) increased the price of the Swift GLX CVT variant by 6.3%, or Rs304,000. It should be renowned that it was accessible for Rs5.125 million before.
Pak Suzuki cited high sales tax on nearby accumulated vehicles as one of the major reasons behind this price hike.
The government had increased the sales tax from 18% to 25% for vehicles with an invoice price (excluding sales tax) exceeding Rs4 million on March 8.
It should be noted that Pak Suzuki Motors Company have increased the price of Swift GLX CVT for the second time in a month as it notified an increase of Rs85,000 on March 1 citing inflation and rising raw material prices.
