Australia have named their squad for the third Test against England, with Pat Cummins making his return and set to resume captaincy in the Adelaide Test.
Cricket Australia announced that Cummins has fully recovered from injury and is back in competitive action. Meanwhile, Usman Khawaja has successfully retained his spot in the 15-man squad despite missing the Brisbane Test due to a back problem suffered during the Perth Test.
Cummins had been sidelined since July, with his last Test appearance coming against the West Indies in Jamaica.
The selected squad features Pat Cummins (captain), Scott Boland, Alex Carey, Brendan Doggett, Cameron Green, Travis Head, Josh Inglis, Usman Khawaja, Marnus Labuschagne, Nathan Lyon, Michael Neser, Steve Smith, Mitchell Starc, Jack Worrall, and Beau Webster.

The third Ashes Test is scheduled to begin on December 17 in Adelaide, with Australia holding a commanding 2–0 lead in the five-match series.
