The Lahore Traffic Police has introduced a new rule making helmets mandatory for all motorcycle riders and passengers, regardless of gender. Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Athar Waheed announced this step to improve road safety and reduce deaths caused by head injuries in accidents. Women have been given a one-week grace period to start following the rule. After that, violators will
