The Sindh government has introduced a new route for Karachi’s women-only Pink Bus Service, which will start running on November 17, 2025. This route will go from Abdullah Chowk to Numaish and will give women a dedicated travel option during busy hours.
Provincial Transport Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon shared the update on Saturday. He said the Pink Bus will run three times a day: from 8am to 9am, 1pm to 2pm, and 5pm to 7pm. The timings are meant to make it easier and safer for women to travel through the city’s most crowded areas.
Sharjeel Memon said the service is made only for women and focuses on comfort and safety. Each bus has security systems, tracking features, and trained staff to ensure a safe ride. He also said the Sindh government plans to extend the Pink Bus service to more areas in the coming months.
The minister added that this project aims to support women by giving them reliable and safe transport, helping them reach education and work more easily.
