Karachi: Renowned Pakistani singer Atif Aslam has finally addressed recent claims regarding his alleged high fees for interviews, breaking his silence and sharing insights into his career and success.
With over 11 million followers on Instagram, Aslam has gained fame for his soulful voice and hit songs including Adat, Kuch Is Tarah, Bakhuda, and Dil Diyan Gallan.
Known for his relentless performance schedule, the singer has captivated audiences both in Pakistan and internationally, performing in Canada, North America, and his homeland throughout this year.
During a recent appearance on a YouTube show, Aslam clarified the controversy, stating that he does not feel obligated to attend every show and that claims of him demanding high fees are often misinterpreted.
“I know that I don’t need to appear on every show,” he said. “If someone says I charge a high fee, it simply means they want me there.”
He further reflected on the respect and recognition he has received, saying, “Allah has blessed me with immense honor.
Sometimes, due to my busy schedule, I may not be able to attend events, but I remain aware of public perception. I have seen people’s behavior change, being kind only until they truly know you.”
