New York: Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Asim Iftikhar, has strongly condemned India’s unilateral announcement to suspend the Indus Waters Treaty, calling it a blatant violation of international law and treaty obligations. In his address to the UN Security Council, Ambassador Iftikhar stated that India’s move poses a serious threat to regional stability and peace. He warned
