Brooklyn Peltz Beckham has confirmed a bitter estrangement from his famous parents, David and , accusing them of trying to sabotage his marriage to Nicola Peltz.
In a startling Instagram post on Monday, Brooklyn publicly addressed the long-rumored family feud, revealing that his parents have allegedly “tried endlessly to ruin” his relationship with American actress and billionaire heiress Nicola Peltz, daughter of businessman Nelson Peltz and former model Claudia Heffner Peltz. Following their 2022 wedding, he adopted a double-barreled surname, Peltz Beckham.
“For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family,” Brooklyn wrote to his 16.3 million followers. “I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life.”

Brooklyn detailed several incidents that deepened the rift. He claimed Victoria Beckham canceled Nicola’s wedding dress at the last minute, forcing the bride to urgently find an alternative. He also alleged that his mother called him “evil” for including their nannies at the wedding table and “hijacked” his first dance with Nicola, stepping in unexpectedly.
“Despite our efforts to bring our families together, my wife has been consistently disrespected,” Brooklyn said.
He also described strained interactions with his father. Brooklyn and Nicola traveled to London for David Beckham’s 50th birthday but were reportedly left waiting in their hotel room for a week, unable to spend time with him.
When they were finally allowed to meet, it came with the condition that Nicola could not attend. Later, during a family visit to Los Angeles, they claim they were completely refused an audience.
Addressing rumors that Nicola controls him, Brooklyn wrote, “That narrative is completely backwards. I have been controlled by my parents for most of my life. I grew up with overwhelming anxiety. For the first time in my life, since stepping away from my family, that anxiety has disappeared.”
