Ryan Reynolds appeared tense as he awkwardly dodged questions about Blake Lively’s legal battle with Justin Baldoni. During his appearance on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert”, the actor avoided addressing the ongoing lawsuit and shifted the conversation to the upcoming season of his show, “Welcome to Wrexham”. This interview also marked Reynolds’s first public appearance since his wife filed a lawsuit against the “It Ends with Us” filmmaker.

While sitting down with the show host, the Deadpool star said of his series that “It’s mayhem.” He further said, “It’s the ecstasy and joy that you can’t believe exists in this world right now that we live in. We live in a digital hate tank.”

“The Proposal” star praised concerts and movie theaters for bringing communities together. Later in the show, Ryan Reynolds tried to win over fans by playing with puppies during a segment titled “Rescue Dog Rescue”. While he spent time with the pets, he made no mention of the lawsuit against “Jane the Virgin” star Justin Baldoni.
