Many people create diet plans to control excess weight or obesity but often fail to achieve desired results due to common mistakes and lack of proper knowledge.
Well-known Pakistani TV actress Sana Askari shared her personal experience with dieting. She revealed that while she initially enjoyed following a diet, she struggled with consistency. “For the first two days, I ordered food online according to my plan, but by the third day, my husband suggested we go eat outside,” she said.
Sana emphasized that dieting should not be solely about losing weight. “The purpose of eating should be to consume nutritious food that provides energy and strength,” she explained. She added that a proper diet not only helps manage weight but also improves skin glow, strengthens hair, and supports overall bodily functions.
She noted that in showbiz, actors and actresses often take extra care to maintain their appearance. Their diet plans are generally balanced and nutrient-rich, focusing on proteins, fiber, and essential vitamins.
According to Sana, common mistakes in dieting include eating too little, ignoring balanced nutrition (especially protein and fiber), insufficient water intake, and irregular exercise. Other factors that hinder weight loss include quitting the diet when results are slow, lack of proper sleep, and completely avoiding healthy fats, which can slow metabolism and weaken muscles.
Her advice highlights that a successful diet should combine nutritious meals, hydration, regular exercise, and patience, rather than focusing only on rapid weight loss.
