Dry conditions dominate while northern highlands may see rain and light snowfall.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), most parts of the country are expected to experience dry weather today, while cold and partly cloudy conditions are likely to prevail in the mountainous regions.

The PMD stated that upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir may witness light rain accompanied by thunder, with light snowfall over higher mountains at a few locations.

Meanwhile, daytime temperatures in the plains are expected to remain above normal, indicating relatively warmer conditions across several regions.

In Islamabad and its surrounding areas, the weather is forecast to remain dry to partly cloudy, with strong winds likely to blow in the afternoon, and temperatures expected to range between 28°C and 30°C.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, most districts are likely to experience dry weather, while upper areas including Chitral, Dir, Swat, and Kohistan could receive light rain and snowfall over higher peaks.

Daytime temperatures in the province’s plains may range between 31°C and 33°C, while mountainous areas may record 21°C to 23°C.

Across Punjab, weather conditions are expected to remain dry and warm, with gusty winds likely during the afternoon in the plains.

Upper and central districts may see partly cloudy skies, while Murree and the Galiyat region are likely to remain cool during the morning and night hours. Temperatures in central and southern Punjab are forecast between 32°C and 34°C.

In Sindh, the PMD predicts dry weather in most districts, with daytime temperatures likely to range between 35°C and 37°C.

Similarly, Balochistan is expected to experience mostly dry conditions, although northern districts may remain cold during the morning and night hours.

Temperatures in the northern parts are likely to stay between 26°C and 28°C, while southern areas may record 33°C to 35°C.
