According to an industry agent quoted in the report, it was "an ungodly amount of money."
The report highlights that most of these earnings were made outside traditional box office releases. In 2024, six of the top ten films were animated, a category where actors typically don’t earn as much.
Among female actors, only three made it to the top 20: Nicole Kidman (Babygirl, A Family Affair), Mariska Hargitay, and Scarlett Johansson—the youngest on the list at 40. Despite his stellar year, Timothée Chalamet did not make the cut, as his deals were locked in before his 2024 hits.
