Zayed Khan, known for his role in the film Main Hoon Naa, recently opened up about his elder son Zidaan's health challenges during an interview on the YouTube channel Couple Of Things, hosted by his former co-star Amrita Rao and her husband RJ Anmol.

Zayed revealed that Zidaan, who is now older, faced serious respiratory issues when he was just three years old, leading to significant breathing difficulties that affected the family deeply.

He recalled a frightening incident during a family trip to London. Zidaan approached him, saying, "Papa, help me, I can't breathe." Zayed described how his wife quickly called for an ambulance, demonstrating her strength in emergencies. Once at the hospital, the nurse's worried expressions indicated that Zidaan's condition was critical, but after receiving important injections, the doctors decided surgery wasn't necessary. Zayed shared, "We were in so much agony because there is nothing worse than the thought of losing a child." Fortunately, after a few hours, the treatment began to work.

The experience deeply affected Zayed, leading him to struggle with depression as he faced the fear of losing his child. However, he found strength to overcome these feelings. Despite the doctors' initial concerns, Zidaan now enjoys an active lifestyle and participates in outdoor activities, proving that he has thrived despite the challenges.

Zayed Khan is the son of veteran actor Sanjay Khan and the brother of Sussanne Khan, Hrithik Roshan's ex-wife. He married Malaika in 2005 and they have two sons, Zidaan and Ariz.
