Lunar eclipse 2019: Pakistan to witness partial moon eclipse

The partial lunar eclipse will be visible in many parts of the world including Pakistan.

According to Pakistan Meteorological Department, Penumbral eclipse will begin at 23:44 PST on 16th July, 2019, while partial eclipse will begin at 01:02 PST on 17th July, 2019

Across the world this eclipse will also be visible from most regions of Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa, North America, South America, Pacific, Atlantic, Indian Ocean and Antarctica, according to reports.

This lunar eclipse will be visible in Pakistan, India, Iran, Afghanistan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia as well as South Africa.

Lunar eclipse occurs when earth comes between the Sun and the Moon, blocking the sunlight falling on the Moon.
